Hey,

Hope July's treating you well. The monsoon's finally hit Delhi, and honestly, rain on a Monday with a chai in hand makes the start of the week a little easier :)

That last bit is the reason I'm writing. I don't want to be left behind.
I also made a video on this - watch it here

I understand that feeling. The MBA season has that effect on young people. Suddenly, everyone around you seems to be writing CAT, shortlisting campuses, and posting admit cards, and it feels like a train's leaving without you.

So let me tell you what I'd tell a close friend sitting across from me right now.

If you know what you want and an MBA gets you there faster, do it. If you want the network and credentials, a good program genuinely delivers on both.

But if you're applying because everyone else is, two years and ₹30+ lakhs is a very expensive way to figure out what you want.

And if it's the business knowledge you're after, you don't have to wait for it.

I recorded a video recently, talking about 8 things I learned building Innov8, investing in 125+ startups, and failing more times than I can count.

Watch it before you decide anything. It might give you more clarity than six months of MBA prep.

Whatever you choose, choose it for yourself and not for the timeline someone else is running on.

Speak soon,

Ritesh
